The idea was to send a cocktail kit to the home of the online attendees, whose interior was 100% sustainable. The kit contained products such as a selection of gourmet cuisine, natural snacks, healthy sweets, and a drink. In addition, it was accompanied by a bag of kitchenware completely free of plastics and only with sustainable products.
Taking into account the little impact of digital events and the choice of catering that ESIC had for the event, the group was able to carry out a great example of a sustainable event.
AdBlue is a business meeting that has been launched by public institutions, based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The event consists of the association of companies with environmental values such as Ecoalf, Playstation, or Roca, with institutions such as MediaLab Prado or La Casa Encendida.
During the event, different activities took place that shared the same objectives: achieving sustainable development, a circular economy, and investments in green technologies.
As for the means of awareness they chose, the event included art exhibitions, conferences on sustainability in its different forms, and even a skate workshop.
In addition to these leisure measures, MadBlue paid tribute to those public figures who have used their voices to publicize the need to care for the oceans. Another great example of a small sustainable event is the one carried out by the company Kombucha Komvida, which markets an ecological drink based on fermented tea.
To give visibility to this product, the company organized a tasting in Barcelona. This was possible thanks to the agency that specialized in sustainable events, Opera. The event included ecological snacks of vegetables and legumes, as a complement to the drink. In addition, the crockery and napkins were recyclable and the cups compostable.
The project was finally carried out successfully and managed to live up to the values instilled by the Komvida company. This is distinguished by its organic ingredients, it’s plastic-free packaging, and a natural product with no additives and the least possible amount of sugar.
